Our mission

Did you ever really need help and wished somebody would spontaneously get out of their way to help you?

At #WeLearn, we help!

More precisely, our mission is to help refugees in Germany to better integrate by offering them a free app to learn German in a fun & interactive way!

We have news for you. Did you know that 17% of women and 7% of men refugees in Germany have never been to school and that 11% of women refugees in Germany are illiterate? As a consequence, this population faces great difficulties learning the local language, finding work and ultimately integrating into society.

At #WeLearn, we understand that all of us can help today because we once were the people needed to learn, and we still enjoy learning everyday. To add more, we love passing onto others our love of learning. We believe that as a sharing economy, we should all help one another the best we can. We decided to help refugees in Germany feel at home in this country through the very fundamental step of fluently speaking the language.

We would love to be able to help the most refugees integrate in their new societies. Helping refugees in Germany is for us a starting point. We are looking forward to growing and adding more languages and more cultures on our app.
